  7. Core Price Your price unless overridden by a % increase in your listing constraints or a venue specific price you set differently.
  8. DAZzle DAZzle is the shipping program used by Endicia.
  9. DC Delivery Confirmation.
  10. Endicia Endicia Internet Postage lets users print postage for all their mail. All you need is a PC, an Internet connection, and a laser or inkjet printer. http://www.endicia.com/
  11. File Format A file format is the type of file. For an example, .txt is text. This is what the extension on your tab-delimited files should be.
  12. First Violin First Violin is the Stage 2 uploader. It takes either your listing data or file upload data, checks it and puts it into your inventory.
  13. Folder This is where your files are stored on your computer
  14. FTP F(ile) T(ransfer) P(rotocol), A communications protocol governing the transfer of files from one computer to another over a network.

  16. List Flags The list_flags field would be more appropriately named the do not list flags and allow to dictate what items are listing to which active venue.
  17. Move to History This Action removes an order from your ship list where it will be seen by the system as a Cancelled order. The order will not be recorded in your sales stats and will not be charged AOB fees.
  18. Oracle Another information bot that is used to gather upload information from the Live Chat.
  19. PNR Purge and Replace means to delete (purge) all the listings on the venue and replace them with what is in your AOB inventory
  20. Pull List A list you use to 'pull' the books off the shelf, out of the box or other storage method for shipping
  21. Rank Amazon Sales Rank, the lower, the sooner it sells in theory!
  22. Refresh This function will resend any adds, edits, or deletes that have happened in your inventory. You can send a Refresh in two different locations of your AOB account; in Venue Settings near the top of the page is a Refresh Venues link and you can also find Refresh options by clicking the Tools menu tab. Warning Any Changes you made on a venue directly WILL be over written with the records in AOB. If you are making changes to listings it is most advisable that your edits start from within your AOB account.
  23. SKU Stock Keeping Unit, A SKU is an identifier that is used by merchants to permit the systematic tracking of products offered to customers. AOB is a sku based system so you must have sku's on all of your listings. The format of your sku is restricted to letters, numbers, dashes and underscores only.
  24. Soloist Soloist is our internal repricing program.
  25. Sticky Field Very handy if you are listing a stack of books with the same condition, or notes, etc... When you check that box while listing inventory those fields will not clear when you use the create listing button.
  26. Tab Delimited A tab-delimited file is a plain text file that uses tabs to separate data into columns.
  27. Ticket The Ticket Support System - this is an internal email system secure to your specific account that allows us to keep everything together and respond quickly and more accurately.
  28. Token eBay integration requires a 'token' in lieu of your username and password. The reason for this is to shield your account from our having your username and password and thereby having complete access to your account. Also, if something untoward does happen, it's relatively easy for eBay to tell exactly where the breach came from.
  29. Trumpet An information bot, a program that helps answer questions that have been asked before. This helps to give quicker responses.
  30. U - unmatched A bold U or Unmatched displayed on your order means the item was unable to be matched with an active SKU in your account. You do not have sufficient quantity to fill the order or the sku does not exist in your account.
  31. UIEE U(niversal) I(nformation) E(xchange) E(nvironment) is a file format and protocol for exchanging data between dissimilar information systems.
  32. UPC UPC (Universal Product Code) was the original barcode widely used in the United States and Canada for items in stores. The first item to be placed under a UPC scanner in a retail store was a 10-pack of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit chewing gum at Marsh's supermarket in Troy, Ohio, on June 26, 1974.
