  • The settings on this page will control how your inventory is entered on your AOB Single Listing Page (SLP).
    • Some will create drop down menu's, others will set defaults, while others still can change a price.

Check them out in the menu below:

  • Control which fields are displayed on your Single List Page (SLP) with your selections in this section.
    • There is no right or wrong combination, just what works best for you and your business. Feel free to experiment – you can always add or delete anything at anytime.

FBA Settings

  • Place a checkmark in the box for this setting to turn on a Default FBA setting on your listing page.

Use Collectible

  • You must first be approved by Amazon to sell collectible listings.
    • If you list items in the collectible condition and are not approved to do so by Amazon it will cause errors on your uploads.
  • Select this option to turn on Collectible fields on your listing page for Amazon listings.

Notes & Clickey Notes

  • The notes field can be adjusted to suit your needs – 4 high X 40 wide is a good place to start. Your can always increase or decrease the size if needed.
  • Use this section to setup notes you use a lot in your listing practice to make listing quicker and more consistent.
    • Simply enter an ID for your note and the note you would like to use in the fields provided in this section.
    • Please note the ID should be 8 characters or less, unique, and contain no spaces or special characters.
  • When you have some Clickey Notes set up, they will show just to the left of your notes box on your Single List page.
    • Just click on the ID to paste in the note.
      • There is no practical limit to the number of Clickey Notes you can have.
  • You can use the Clickey Notes with the Private Fields as well.
    • To use these in your Private Fields, use the following format for the ID: '_p

    • For example, to assign the note 'nt3' to be used with Private Field 2, you would use the ID '_p2_nt3'.
Strange, yes, but handy if you use the Private Fields a lot.

Condition Texts

  • Enter text about the condition to create a drop-down box on the single list page.
    • These are provided as a convenience to allow for quicker population of the single list page of these free-form conditions.
    • Enter one condition text item per line in the field provided.

Don't List Defaults

  • The Don't List Defaults will automatically set the do not list flags for you on the single list page, per venue, for each venue that you select in these default settings.
    • Note: You need not set these for venues where you are not selling.

Shipping Speed/Type Default

  • Select the Shipping options you want to offer and they will automatically appear on your single list page as you creating your listings.

eBay Attributes and Defaults

  • Here you will find defaults to select a specific listing duration for eBay listing as you are entering inventory on the Single List page

eBay Override Condition

  • Once a category id is entered to your listing page this option becomes a drop down menu containing any conditions available specific to your item.
    • You can leave this at None if you wish to continue using the Condition as AoB has it in the Condition field of your listing page.
    • Or, you can choose one of the available conditions and override the Condition field.

Multi-Image Settings

  • Choose how many image fields to display in the eBay Attributes section of your listing page.
Please note: If you are already active on eBay through AOB open your eBay configuration page, scroll to the bottom and hit the Save button to Re-save your configuration. This action will pull in newly released code so that we can successfully pass your images to eBay on the upload. New activation's do not need to do this step.
  • Going forward there will be image fields displayed in the eBay Attributes section of your listing page based on the # of fields you selected.
    • By default the first ebay image field will fill-in with the URL from the main image field on your listing page. But, only if the image URL is anything other than an amazon image URL.
If the main image field is populated with an Amazon image URL no action is taken at all and the first ebay image field will be left blank.
These fields can be overwritten at your discretion.
  • If you plan to upload your eBay images use the following headers: eby_image1, eby_image2, eby_image3, and so on.
Do not use secure URL's as the uploads will fail.
  • When you enter an Image URL to the eBay URL field it will be uploaded to eBay.
    • eBay will store the image URL, rename it, and then send the new Image URL back to us.
    • We will then store the new Image URL on your listing page per item.
    • If eBay fails to process any Image URL the URL updates previously described will not take place.
You will find the item receives error notices in your Upload History and it will fail to upload to eBay.
There will also appear a red notice of no ebay image next to the ebay image field on your listing page.
In the event of the aforementioned red no ebay image AoB will resend the Image URL for a new chance of listing and this usually corrects the error.
If you do not see the item listing within 24 hours seek assistance either in Chat or a Support Ticket.

Item Attributes

    • If you wish to use these fields you can turn them on for your listing page by navigating to Single List Page settings where you will find them in the eBay Defaults section. Check the box and save the page.
    • Once the feature is enabled, locate the eBay Attributes section on your single list page and enter an eBay category number in the Primary Category field, hit Enter, or click the populate button at the top of the page. When the page reloads, if there are item attributes available for that category their fields will be displayed in one of two ways:
      • either a drop down menu, which contains eBay's desired entries.
      • or a text-box with a drop down menu; where in the textbox you can enter free-form values, or use the suggestions from eBay found in the drop down menu.
    • If you see a red star next to any of the fields eBay requires that attribute and your item will not successfully upload without a value. The other fields are for better matching, searching, informational, but are optional.

Location Field

  • Use this field to create your most common locations, one per line.
    • Entries here create a popup menu on your single list page with your common locations so you can choose them for a specific listing.
    • You do not have to use this field as it is not a required field to create a listing.

Source Field

  • Use this field to create your most common sources, one per line.
    • Entries here create a popup menu on your SLP of your common sources so you can choose them for a specific listing.

Home Base Field Setup

Some items are very specific to those used to using HomeBase. Use the boxes in this section to set up the pull-down boxes for these fields. One item per line. The size field is generally used to show the size of an item. Enter your most common sizes, 1 per line, to enable the size drop-down box on the single list page.

Amazon Attributes

  • Minimum/Maximum Price: will allow you to create set parameters to be applied to your price adjustments to Amazon.
    • You can select between percent (%) or dollar ($) values in the drop down menu.
    • A Percent (%) setting uses the original listing price as the trigger for the min/max setting for all future repricing activity.
Note: If values are supplied directly on the listing page, those values will override the default values set up here.
  • The following two fields are remnants of Amazon's Zshop's and are no longer used for their intended purpose. Read on for how to use these fields going forward.

Amazon Categories: The Amazon Cateogry is a numeric category code that used to be used by Amazon, but is no longer. This field is kept for legacy purposes. We do nothing with this field, but as some sellers had used the field to store data we've left it on the listing page.

Amazon Browse Paths is used by AOB to store data that will assist you in creating Categories on various venues. It's free-form and typically comma separated.

Drop Amount

  • This is the amount to subtract from the price you click on in the market data as it populates to your prices field. Enter the amount you choose to use in the 'Drop market prices by' box.
Important note: For any of these changes to take effect you must save changes at the bottom of the page each time you make a change.
